KYIV, March 12, 2012 – Ciklum announced today that Roman Khmil has joined the company as Chief Operating Officer (COO) responsible for aligning strategic goals and operational activities, optimization of day-to-day operations, and leadership of Ciklum’s back-office functions across Ukraine and Belarus. The COO is in line with VP HR Marina Vyshegorodskikh, VP Services Christian Aaen and VP Sales Henrik Bak with direct reference to founder and CEO Torben Majgaard.

Most recently VP and Managing Director of GlobalLogic Ukraine, Khmil has been involved with the software development outsourcing industry since 2002, and is recognized as one of the industry's leading business strategists and innovators.

“As Ciklum is growing at 50%+ year over year and strives to further enhance employee and customer satisfaction, we felt it is valuable to bring in a person who had seen the scale and has a solid track record of building efficient operations through strategic innovations,” said Torben Majgaard, CEO of the Ciklum Group. “We think Roman brings to Ciklum the perfect blend of industry, executive and community savvy.”

Prior to joining GlobalLogic, Khmil served as a Managing Partner of BonusTec Inc since its merger with SourceValley in 2006. In 2002 he founded SourceValley Ltd, which eventually evolved into the first independent software testing lab across the region.

Before SourceValley, Khmil was software engineer at CyberVision, contracted by BellCore (now Telcordia Technologies), the legendary telecommunications company.

Khmil earned his Master’s Degree in Computer Science at Kyiv State University back in 1998, and recently spent 2 years at KMBS business school earning his MBA degree.
