New Yorkers Compete to Raise Money to Find Cures for Cancer and Vie for Title of 2012 Man & Woman of the Year

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's New York City Chapter announces candidates for the Man & Woman of the Year fundraising campaign.
“We are truly excited to launch this year’s Man & Woman of the Year Campaign in New York,” says Michele Przypyszny, Executive Director of LLS NYC Chapter. “Each candidate is passionately committed in conducting a successful campaign, and are all unified in the singular goal of raising funds to help blood cancer patients live long, better lives.”
LLS’s MWOY candidates are nominated by their social and professional peers and compete in honor of local pediatric cancer patients, the Boys & Girls of the Year. Candidates for the 2012 Man & Woman of the Year campaign include:
