AK Nygart offers 'Daddy Do-Over' in response to increased male demand for cosmetic surgery

Plastic surgery and cosmetic procedures among men is on the rise. This is evident from a global study performed by The International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS) based on statistical data from 2018.

Among other things the study shows that the global number of male botulinum toxin treatments rose by 15% from 2017 to 2018, while the number of male liposuction surgeries increased by 5,49%.

Chief physician of plastic surgery at AK Nygart, Jesper Trillingsgaard, is a member of ISAPS and he experiences a similar development in Denmark. In his opinion the taboo traditionally surrounding male vanity is melting away:

"In recent years we have seen an increasing number of male clients, who wish to undergo cosmetic surgery in order to improve their physical appearance. I think that this is partly explanied by the fact that the standards of male beauty have changed."

He predicts that the market for male beauty treatments and cosmetic surgery will only continue to grow in the future.

"Quite simply it has become more and more acceptable for men to care about their physical appearance on the same level as women – and more acceptable for men to fight signs of aging."

In response to the increased demand AK Nygart has developed a special package for men – the 'Daddy Do-Over' which combines non-surgical and surgical cosmetic procedures to take care of all the traditional male problem areas like droopy eyelids, facial wrinkles, belly fat and unwanted body hair.
