Crypto.com customers unite objecting to yet another unfavorable move by Hong Kong based Crypto.com against its MCO token investors – the newly founded CDC Customer Alliance GbR is determined to defend customer rights of Crypto.com customers and protect the interests of MCO token investors.

Berlin, Germany, Monday September 7th 2020 – On the 3rd of August, Crypto.com announced the effective cancellation of their initial ICO token MCO. In the so called “MCO to CRO swap program”, crypto.com informed its customers and investors out of the blue that all utility of the MCO token will expire on the 2nd of November 2020. Under these conditions, MCO token holders may swap their MCOs at the swap rate of 27.6439 CRO per MCO token. This rate has been unilaterally defined by Crypto.com and could not be more unfavorable according to the view of CDC Customer Alliance GbR. As Crypto.com is aware of the very unfavorable procedure, they offer a so called “swap bonus” of 20% which is connected to several disadvantageous T&Cs towards the MCO token holders.

As this is not the first time that Crypto.com has applied changes to their business model which are not favorable for the initial MCO token investors, the time has now come for a joint effort to defend the rights and interests of MCO token investors and Crypto.com customers. One has to understand that we are looking at a potential case of investment fraud, as Crypto.com has repeatedly praised the MCO token as the value behind the ecosystem and predicted exponential price development due to the token's attributes. Furthermore, the person that identifies himself as the CEO of “Crypto.com”, Kris Marszalek publicly stated in a video that:” But in no point in time will there be a swap from MCO token to CRO token”. The CDC Customer Alliance GbR has now launched the website https://cdcalliance.com in order to provide detailed information about the whole incident and sensible calculations for a reasonable MCO to CRO token swap rate. As Crypto.com has denied reasonable talks about this issue, CDC Customer Alliance GbR is in the process of court proceedings against one of the companies which is part of the Crypto.com system and is planning litigation in various other jurisdictions such as Hong Kong.

We encourage MCO token holders and investors to join us and defend their rights!
