Central Veterinary Associates Wins “Best of the Boro” Award

VALLEY STREAM, NY — Central Veterinary Associates has announced that it has won The Queens Courier’s 2011 “Best of the Boro” Health & Beauty Awards in the category for Best Veterinarian.

The public decides which local businesses are worthy of competing by submitting their nomination online in each category. The voting period ran from November 26, 2011 to January 10, 2012. More than 101,500 votes were received overall. Central Veterinary Associates won among five other veterinary facilities vying for this award.

This is the fifth award Central Veterinary Associates has received in the past few months. The animal hospital also received Long Island Business News’ Health Care Heroes Award, Alley Pond Environmental Center’s Friend of the Environment Award,” ImproMed Customer of the Year Award (Outstanding Veterinary Contributor) and a Certificate of Recognition from The Guide Dog Foundation For The Blind, Inc.
