Easy to install Real Time Location Systems: nanotron releases nanoLES Version 2.0
Berlin – February 22, 2012 — Nanotron Technologies announces the release of nanoLES v2.0, the high throughput location engine and server software of nanotron’s People and Asset Locating (PAL) technology. Improved usability, easy installation and enhanced scalability are key features of the new release. nanoLES ensures that system integrators, middleware providers and OEMs can integrate nanotron PAL technology into their products. Version 2.0 achieves an indoor location accuracy of 2 meters and a guaranteed throughput of at least 250 true location readings per second.“With nanoLES v2.0 we provide our most reliable location engine and server software. Based on extensive customer feedback the product has continued to develop with the markets”, comments Frank Schlichting, nanotron’s Product Marketing Director. He adds, “The latest version has improved usability and offers seamless scalability. Any RTLS installation can be easily extended to cover additional areas, whether indoors or outdoors.”
Along with the new nanoLES release, the nanoPAL RTLS Toolbox has also been upgraded. It facilitates the integration of the PAL technology with business applications and middleware.
PAL technology is currently used in various industries to locate and monitor people and assets. To name a few, these industries include livestock monitoring and management, transit yard management and mine safety.
Nanotron’s PAL product portfolio targets system integrators, middleware providers and OEMs focusing on global vertical markets. Nanotron promotes an open air-interface supporting ISO/IEC 24730-5:2010, the standard for global asset tracking and enables customers to sell their own vertical-specific tags.
