Bawazir Tech Launches Bahrain Educational Portal

Riffa, Kingdom of Bahrain - May 25, 2007 - Bawazir Technology Establishment (Bawazir Tech) has launched "The Educational Portal of the kingdom of Bahrain". The Portal's database includes information on more than 300 educational institutions- government & private schools, training & vocational institutes, colleges & universities- in Bahrain. The Portal conveniently allows each institution to enter and update its information directly and in realtime. The Portal address is given below.
According to Eng. Saeed Bawazir, General Manager of Bawazir Tech, "the Portal is in response to increasing demand for information on educational institutes in this part of the world. It is also an effort to fill in the shortage in Arabic language sites that provide such information to the GCC audience in a more qualified manner."
"This Portal targets individuals & organizations in the GCC states in particular and using Arabic as much as possible. He said that Bawazir Tech is planning to introduce other portals that will serve various sectors of the community in the Kingdom of Bahrain and other GCC states using latest technologies and communications tools in both Arabic & English languages." he added.
Ms. Mona Bawazir who heads the Design section at Bawazir Tech and gave special Bahraini touches to the Portal has stressed that the availability of advanced educational facilities in Bahrain, the exceptional attributes enjoyed by Bahrain such as its close proximity to all GCC states, similarity of social customs, and its renowned cultural openness will all make Bahrain the first destination for students and trainees in the region.
At this occasion, Bawazir Tech has announced it will provide a free ad-supported website to any government or private school in Bahrain. Thru this website, the school board can publish more information about the school. Faculty members, students and their parents may also participate in directly publishing their own articles and contributions.
