IT Industry Giants Intel Launches Qmarkets’ Ideation Platform Across Strategic Business Units
Tel Aviv, Israel: The Intel Business Innovation Team has launched Qmarkets’ award-winning idea management platform to collect innovative ideas and solutions from employees of specific internal business units. So far around 1,300 Intel employees have been invited to participate from two distinct units, the Silicon engineering teams and a manufacturing team.“Qmarkets platform allows configuration of the idea management process tailored to each organization’s unique needs and goals” explained Viki Almog-Ayzenberg, the Business Innovation Manager at Intel. “We’re seeing ROI in both savings and earnings, with ideas to improve processes, existing products and services, and even new businesses and markets. This is already delivering impact for us”.

The platform will be used on an ongoing continuous basis, but the initiative was kicked off on the 20th of July with a four-week ideation event to encourage adoption and engagement. The first two weeks were dedicated to idea submission, collaboration, and discussion, with the second half dedicated to POC (proof of concept) development by the idea submitter. So far users have delivered 246 ideas, 462 comments, and 900+ votes, with those figures forecasted to ramp up significantly in the months ahead.
Intel’s innovation department are using the flex edition of Qmarkets’ flagship Q-ideate platform, which facilitates ongoing modification to reflect changing objectives using powerful self-admin functionality.
