Smart Data Stream Celebrates Three-Year Anniversary
St. Paul, Minnesota – February 16, 2012 – Smart Data Stream, a clearinghouse focused on increasing direct connectivity and electronic claim submissions, is celebrating its three-year anniversary. The company already boasts great success, receiving over 10,000 transactions per day from over 200 providers, channel partners, clearinghouse billing services and practice management systems. Furthermore, based on their outreach to providers and EDI clients Smart Data Stream says it is poised to double its size in the next six months.“We are thrilled to be at this important point in our corporate history,” remarked John Prange, the company’s co-founder and co-owner. “We set-out to be a value-oriented solution that is different than the inherently ineffective traditional clearinghouse model -- and I believe we were able to achieve this.”
Smart Data Steam provides automated, real-time transaction capabilities supported by their vast and continually growing network of direct connections. The company adds value by identifying and reaching out to clients’ top paper-submitting partners and converting these top paper submitters to electronic transactions. The benefits many Smart Data Stream clients are seeing include reduction in cost, reduction in claim turn-around time and increased automation of processes.
“Smart Data Stream is able to reduce the per claim transaction cost and increase electronic volumes in the short-term, while helping to create an effective and viable electronic network long-term” continues Mark Fogarty, the company’s EDI specialist.
Smart Data Stream was started by Smart Data Solutions, an eleven-year-old front-end claims management processor. The goal is to focus on providing a value oriented, clearinghouse model that provides automated, real-time transaction capabilities supported by a vast network of direct connections. Smart Data Stream is able to stand out from other clearinghouses by providing a low-cost solution that is supported by an unparalleled level of personalized service and support. Additionally the solution provides extensive reporting features as well as automated integration of mailroom, data capture, data editing, and real-time reporting.
