CU80 Stops Texting, Emailing & Enforces Mobile Phone Policies While Driving

Europe’s first safety device to stop motorists using mobiles while driving to be launched in 2012, motorists across the UK are set to be safer behind the wheel.

The CU80 device takes the temptation away to tweet, surf the internet and make calls when in the driving seat.
The first system of its kind that will help stop drivers being distracted by mobile devices – phones, laptops, tablet computers or MP3 players – aims to save lives by stopping mobile activity in the car. Named after the UK driving offence code for using a mobile phone while driving (CU80), the device is simple to install.
