Netkiller Upgrades “Shared Contacts” for Google Apps
San Jose, CA, February 09, 2012 - Many businesses have found Netkiller Shared Contacts an essential way to keep track of and organize clients, customers, and employees, as well as other contacts. The application allows for contacts to be uploaded in bulk, as well as providing one-click contact editing through the easy-to-use interface.
New features make this application even more valuable: The Netkiller Shared Contacts app now accommodates advanced methods of sorting and searching for contacts, allowing users to sort by various fields for added convenience, including first and last name, company, email address, and more. Shared-contacts can be searched for by name, address, or any other word or phrase with a detailed and comprehensive built-in search engine.
Beyond this basic functionality, Netkiller Shared Contacts also sports some unique new features for an even more valuable and interactive shared-contact system. Users can click directly on an address in the application interface to be linked to a new window with the Google Maps location of the address. Additionally, shared-contacts can be found in users’ Google Contacts; once an admin names the shared group (i.e. ‘my company shared contacts’) this common group will appear to all users, so any user with access can search and browse these shared-contacts from his or her personal Google Contacts (the shared-contacts also synchronize with smartphones).
More new features include faster application response time, a streamlined mass contact import and export system, and comprehensive admin permissions capabilities (admins can restrict users in their domain from seeing all or part of the shared contacts group, and they can determine who has the privilege to edit shared-contacts).
Best of all, the app is free for up to 100 shared-contacts for all users within a domain, or up to 30,000 shared-contacts when businesses subscribe to Google Apps for Business through Netkiller. For businesses who are interested in Netkiller Shared Contacts, but happy with their current Google Apps provider, Netkiller Shared Contacts is only $199/year for non-Netkiller clients (up to 30,000 shared-contacts for all users within a domain) and can be installed from the Google Apps Marketplace. However, access to this application for free is only one of the many benefits of switching to Netkiller for Google Apps for Business.
In addition, the first 20 customers to download the free version of Netkiller Shared Contacts and write a qualified review on the Google Apps Marketplace will receive a free upgrade to the full version of the application for one year.
