WiFi Installation Project Completed for 220 Sites
ISG technology, one of the largest surveyors, installers and maintainers of Wireless LAN in the UK, has announced the successful completion of a challenging WiFi installation project for the UK’s largest retailer. After the successful installation, the retailer’s customers have access to free WiFi Internet service in 220 of its stores. This large scale project began with site surveys, using AirMagnet Analytics to determine the current wireless coverage of the existing network infrastructure. The results were carefully analysed to validate the signal strength and signal/noise ratio. Adjustments to existing access points or new access points were installed to eliminate WiFi inefficiencies. All the work was successfully completed within an eight week window. ISG technology teams communicated all changes with the retailer’s support team. The WiFi roll-out project was achieved within the timescale, budget and without issues or complications.
