ALTIMATE Awarded Symantec Distributor of the Year for Second Year Running

Manchester , UK – February 6th, 2012 - Specialist Endpoint and Security distributor ALTIMATE, were crowned “Symantec Value Added Distributor of the Year” at the UK Symantec Channel Excellence Awards evening in Rome, Italy.

This award recognises the overall service and support provided to Symantec partners taking into account distribution services, pre and post-sales support, market development assistance and online capabilities. ALTIMATE not only scooped the UK Award for the second consecutive year but were also shortlisted for the EMEA Distributor of the Year at the EMEA awards ceremony the previous night.

The winners were chosen by a panel of judges from Symantec’s UK and Ireland channel team and the award was presented by the Head of EMEA Value Distribution at Symantec, Jamie Farrelly.

Country Manager, Divyesh Lakhani was at the Gala Dinner and accepted the award on behalf of the whole ALTIMATE team. He commented,
