FLORIDA GOVERNOR RICK SCOTT SPEAKS CANDIDLY AT LATIN BUILDERS ASSOCIATION DECISION 2012 EVENT

On Jan 27, 2012, Governor Rick Scott was the main luncheon speaker at the Latin Builders Association® Decision 2012 event. He was joined by Republican Presidential candidates Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich. During the luncheon, there was a unique question and answer session where guests could speak directly to the Governor.

Some of the questions posed to the Governor included education funding, permits, and how the state will create jobs. The Governor spoke frankly about how he envisioned bringing jobs back to Florida.

Other topics addressed included the destination resorts act and off shore drilling.
The Governor also gave a speech regarding a plan to get Florida back on track by adding more funding to education, keeping the cost of living down, and creating more jobs.

“We were honored to have this opportunity to speak candidly with Governor Rick Scott,” said President Bernie Navarro. “We are all looking forward to moving the South Florida economy forward, and the Governors plans reflect forward motion.”

Also in attendance at the Decision 2012 event were Presidential candidates Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum. The event concluded with the LBA endorsing Rick Santorum.
