Integrative and Holistic Test Prep Company Expands to San Francisco
TPNY is the only educational company to combine traditional test prep and subject tutoring with personal empowerment coaching. This includes, but is not limited to, holistic approaches such as hypnosis, neuro-linguistic programming, sound therapy, and more. These modalities combined with content mastery helps prepare students to enter high stakes tests calm and confident.
Founder and Executive Director, Bara Sapir established TPNY in 2005 after receiving national recognition for her innovative approach to tutoring. Her cumulative 20 years experience in the US and abroad includes six years working for The Princeton Review. TPNY's first book about holistic test prep and Sentence Correction on the GMAT will be published and distributed nationally by Nova Press this spring.
As an introduction to TPNY to the Bay Area, Bara Sapir will be teaching their signature course, MindFlow™ in San Francisco in the upcoming months.
MindFlow™ is a one-day/five-hour class created to improve students’ performance on the reading comprehension sections of high stakes standardized tests: SAT, ACT, GRE. GMAT and LSAT.
Students’ challenges with time management, one of the most underemphasized aspects in the test prep process, prompted Sapir to create MindFlow™. Through speed-reading techniques, test strategy and valuable confidence building exercises, students comprehend more in less time, and perform their best. Past MindFlow™ students increased their reading score an average of 13%. They also double, triple and even quadruple their reading speed without compromising comprehension.
