Better, brighter and more affordable: Innr Lighting announces the next generation of their popular light strips

Hilversum, July 13, 2020 - Smart light strips are very popular. Especially if they are compatible with the Zigbee smart home standard. Because this allows these coloured LED strips to be integrated into various smart home system, including those of the market leader Philips Hue.

Innr's popular Flex Light Strips have received a number of interesting upgrades, as Innr co-founder Jeroen Dalderop explains. The Dutch smart lighting specialists used extensive market research data to tweak their latest generation of smart light strips.
“Users told us that they love the premium lighting quality of our Flex Light, with intense colours and a super-deep dimming feature. Also the smooth uniform light distribution is something they really appreciate.”

“So we made sure to keep those great features also in the new product. But we also listened to suggestions for improvements. Often users asked us for a product with even more light output, and for version that was shorter than the current four meters.”

So the new Flex Light will be available in a two-meter version as well as in a four-meter version. The product name of this new shorter version is FL 120 C. With this comparatively short LED light strip, Innr meets a growing consumer demand for use in applications where 2 meters of continuous white or coloured light is enough.

As with the previous model the new products both use an extra large number of LEDs (60 pieces per meter) to provide a particularly uniform light output. This high-density design is a unique selling point of all Light Strips from Innr.
As with most LED strips the length is easily adjustable, simply by using scissors.

The new edition comes with a big increase in lumen output: the four-meter long version (FL 140 C) provides a full 200 lumens more than the previous model. In addition, there is a version that does not have a plug adapter but uses integrated a so-called "LED driver" with pole connectors. This enables the use of colour-coordinated LED strip lights in areas where there is no socket. Direct connection products such as the FL 140 C /LD are becoming increasingly popular for DIY projects.

Furthermore, the colour rendering has been increased and is now above 85 CRI, which means that the white light quality of the strip is better than that of regular light bulbs. Users can choose any shade of white, from a very warm 1800K to a very cold 6500K, and any colour they like from a spectrum of 16 million colours. The new Light Strips can also be dimmed particularly deep. The brightness can be set between 0.1 percent and 100 percent.

The new product also used the experience gained from Innr’s new heavy-duty outdoor range. The extra sturdy design of the Innr Outdoor Light Strip, praised by numerous reviews, inspired the Innr engineers for the redesign of the Light Strip for indoor use.
“Our new generation of light strips is not only better, but also sturdier and more durable,” says Dalderop.

A total of three new indoor products are offered:
FL 120 C (2m RGBW - 49.99 euros), FL 140 C (4m RGBW - 69.99 euros) as well as the also four-meter long, plug-free variant FL 140 C / LD for 69.99 euros.
All new products will be available from the end of July at relevant online retailers and specialist retailers.
