Organisations can now reduce contamination risk, save time and prevent temporary shutdown with KNOX Screening Software.

29 June 2020, Johannesburg – With South Africa officially registering the highest number of COVID-19 cases on the continent, businesses and establishments are at increased risk of forced shutdowns and further financial losses.

South Africa now officially stands at 138,134 cases and 2,456 deaths, placing the South African government under increased pressure to implement additional drastic measures to curb the spread of the disease. But the severe economic impact of lockdown measures means that alternative actions need to be identified and swiftly implemented.

“The next logical move is that the government will focus on regulatory compliance, which will result in the temporary shutdown of businesses and establishments,” said Italo Olivier, Managing Director of KNOX Screening Software. “This can have dire effects with further financial losses, and that is exactly why we developed our screening software – to ensure regulatory compliance and safeguard organisations”.

KNOX Screening Software consists of a mobile app and admin interface that fully automates the COVID-19 screening process. “Our software adheres to the strictest government regulations, while also being fully compliant to global privacy requirements,” said Olivier.

KNOX makes use of two-factor health screening that grants access to staff, visitors or patrons in five easy steps, and makes use of no-touch Bluetooth technology that further reduces contamination risk. Another great benefit is that by fully automating the process, it drastically cuts down on screening time.

“One of our clients have reduced their screening time backlog from a 2.5 hour waiting time to only ten seconds per screening. That is a significant amount of time that can now be spent making money. Our users can now get back to business”.

KNOX Screening Software is available to businesses and establishments of all sizes and tailors their solutions to every client’s needs. Even though it was developed in South Africa, the solution is available to organisations around the world.

“We are proud that we can do our bit to help safeguard businesses. By going smart, it will help people stay safe.”
