The blog seeks to empower and inspire new and existing business by spreading knowledge and covering business culture in Africa and around the world.
Due to the high number of businesses getting online through the “Getting Businesses Online” campaign by Google, there is a need to provide a website for new and existing businesses to get exposure and a cost effective way to reach their target market.
The site will be live from Saturday 21st 2012 and is available at http://www.holivine.com. To get covered, business owners will be required to sign up as authors and submit professionally prepared news and articles covering their businesses.
The users of the service are expected to benefit tremendously. They will receive a massive increase in exposure and a boost in credibility. They will be able to include a short blurb about their business and websites below the main news body and this will deliver pre-qualified visitors back to their sites. The blog has RSS feeds and email lists designed to announce every piece of news to permission based members. The integrated news widget will help in sharing the news by posting them to other websites.
