MOVEX.co Website Launches Automotive Logistics Marketplace for the UK
MOVEX.co announces the launch of its trade-only, online vehicle movements exchange, specifically designed for automotive transport logistics providers and trade professionals within the UK auto industry.London, UK 18th January 2012 - After extensive research and collaboration with members of the auto trade, MOVEX.co goes live with the aim to remove the hassle from matching auto transport providers with trade professionals who require vehicles to be moved on a regular basis.
“Our targeted user base will be companies such as new & used car dealers, vehicle auction houses, automotive remarketing services, shipping companies and anyone else who requires vehicles to be moved on a regular basis.” said Tom Menzie, co-founder of MOVEX. “Our aim is for them to be provided with multiple quotes from suitable transport providers without having to have lengthy phone calls and email conversations. Those transport providers stand to gain from our service as our website has excellent filtering options, meaning that they can be alerted when a quote request matching their logistic capabilities is posted. We will cater for any size transport company, right down to the chap with a single vehicle transporter or a trade-plate driver.”
In addition to simplifying the quote process between users and service suppliers, MOVEX.co incorporates features to keep track of all vehicle movements once a quote has been accepted that is helped with an instant alert system. Further key features include VRM (Vehicle Registration Mark) lookup to provide useful data to transport providers such as the make, model, colour, dimensions and weight of the vehicle to be moved.
“The VRM lookup feature saves users of our service a lot of time.” adds other co-founder Daren Jones, “By just entering the vehicle registration plate number, details of the vehicle are attached to the quote request, giving transport providers information they need. Very useful for people who cannot transport vehicles above a certain size or weight.”
Future phased upgrades and enhancements are planned for MOVEX.co to further help transport service providers maintain a competitive edge.
MOVEX.co is the online marketplace for UK automotive logistics. Created for the vehicle movements trade, it simplifies the process of vehicle collections and deliveries. MOVEX.co helps logistics providers to be more productive and increase efficiency.
