Press release from: Howlin Comedy club

HOWLIN confirms and welcomes television presenter Anna Williamson, Ben Goffe and Rusty Goffe (one of the original Oompa Loompas) as audience guests to see HOWLIN Comedy Club’s gagtastic line up this February 4th at The Maltings Theatre. HOWLIN also welcomes a special appearance by Kev Orkian onto the stage and if that wasn’t enough, HOWLIN brings to you Tinky Winky from the Teletubbies! Read on to find out more!!

HOWLIN Comedy Club started the year off with a bang, their January show left audiences in fits of laughter. Miles Crawford entertained and wowed audiences with his huge personality and Jim Tavare, Tony Cowards and Nick Wilty left the audiences HOWLIN for more!

February’s show has another great line up, Simon Clayton who has been described as ‘skilful on stage’ and Loaded magazine famously described him as ‘a bottle of HP sauce, fat, brown and fruity’ will be hosting February’s star studded show! HOWLIN’S first act, Eddy Brimson, described as engaging and compelling, has performed all around the world and we have been informed that he once performed naked!! Eddy has promised to keep his clothes on for February’s show!

Second act of the night is Dave Thompson who has worked for numerous hit shows and very closely with Harry Hill... But, ladies and gentlemen, Dave Thompson is best known for being Tinky Winky in the BBC’s hit children’s show ‘Teletubbies’! Often described as giving a ‘bizarre’ performance, HOWLIN welcomes Dave to the stage! Eh oh!

Our third act of the night is Rich Morton who has built up a formidable reputation having completed several UK tours with Jack Dee, Lee Evans, Jo Brand, Lily Savage and Phill Jupitus. Rich, winner of the Time Out Comedy Awards, is also a regular on Channel 5......

Finally, as if that wasn’t enough, audiences are given an extra special appearance by Kev Orkian. Kev, who lives in Hertfordshire, has just finished his stint as Idle Jack in the UK’s biggest Pantomine starring alongside Dame Edna Everage. The all round entertainer and concert pianist best known for his Armenian character The Foreigner says; ‘January’s show was phenomenal but February’s show is looking extraordinary and I am very proud to be performing alongside some of the UK’s best comedians with HOWLIN Comedy Club and a star studded audience’. Reviews have been in abundance and Kev is truly a sought after act not to be missed!
