Wayne, N.J. – In its 28-year history providing mobile video production services for some of the most challenging live sports and entertainment events, Crosscreek Television Productions—a mobile video service provider based in Alabaster, AL—has only used FUJINON lenses on its state-of-the-art trucks.

In a new three-minute video testimonial entitled “Crosscreek Productions Equips New High-Def Truck with FUJINON Lenses”—recently posted on Facebook, YouTube, and the corporate blog by FUJIFILM North America Corporation’s Optical Devices Division—Crosscreek’s National Sales Director Spruce McRee explains why his company has always entrusted its demanding mobile video business to FUJINON lenses:

“We’ve used many different FUJINON lenses on our trucks and really put them through the paces. We’ve found them to be extremely reliable, weatherproof, and easy to maintain,” McRee said. “In one of the most challenging events we do—National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) drag racing on ESPN—FUJINON lenses are subjected to punishing conditions, such as extreme temperatures, car exhaust, and burning rubber. If they can stand up to these conditions, they can hold up to just about anything.”

Crosscreek Television Productions, which is the exclusive mobile unit provider for NHRA racing on ESPN, also provides trucks to other sporting events on ESPN as well as Fox Sports, The Spike Channel, and The Speed Channel. Crosscreek’s HD expando truck fleet currently includes: Voyager 9, Voyager 8, and the newest addition, Voyager 10. The trucks carry a variety of FUJINON lenses ranging from wide angle to telephoto, including the large HA88x and HA101x box-type field lenses that sports networks depend on to capture sports action from a distance.

The video also features opening and closing remarks by Thom Calabro, director of marketing and product development for FUJIFILM North America Corporation’s Optical Devices Division. He states, “Crosscreek Productions has a well-deserved reputation for shooting and producing high-quality features, such as Major League Baseball, college sports, and live musical performances, for major television networks. For two decades, we’ve been extremely pleased to serve Crosscreek in all their production endeavors, and will continue to provide them with the best quality optics, reliability, and customer service.”

The new Crosscreek video is part of a broader social media initiative introduced in March 2011 as a means to better inform the market about the unique benefits and features offered by FUJINON lenses. A newly posted video about the importance of high-quality lenses for optimal 3D production is also running on the company’s You Tube channel, Facebook page, and corporate blog.
