Maskase, the world’s foremost antimicrobial copper foil mask case, created by ZENLET in Taiwan, provides 2 sides of protection. The outer layer of Maskase, made of waterproof PP, provides a shield to prevent the skin or clothes from getting in touch with the mask already contaminated with germs.

The inner part of Maskase is coated with a layer of copper foil. Copper was proved as effective means of prevention in the cholera epidemic in the 19th century. At that time, copper had been used on the touch surfaces of door knobs, bed rails, and facilities in hospitals. Before antibiotics were introduced to the world, copper was the only metal that had been widely used in the medicine to curb the spread of germs.

Moreover, copper can inhibit the growth of many microorganisms that virus is detectable up to 4 hours on copper surface. Since copper is the most effective and reliable disinfecting element, we believe it will greatly prolong the life of the disposable mask if we coat a layer of copper foil on the inside of the mask storage case.

Easy to use.

Place the mask onto Maskase with the exterior of mask touching the copper foil. Fold inward and fasten the elastic cord of the mask around Maskase to secure.

Secured & Hygiene storage.

The way to use Maskase is as simple as you fold and slip the mask into your pocket. However, it is way more sophisticated than that as Maskase sanitizes your mask while your mask is stored inside.

Both layers of PP and copper foil can be cleaned with alcohol for reuse.

More than 5.4 million of people have been tested positive for COVID-19 in the world. Especially, in the U.S. alone, more than 6% of its total population have been tested positive. While in Taiwan, with a population of nearly 24 million, Taiwan has just 440 total COVID-19 infections (approximately 0.002% of its total population) ever since the outbreak has swept Asia in this Feb.

Taiwan has done exceptionally well in fighting COVID-19 and the Taiwanese have learned it is not enough to just wear a face mask, wash their hands frequently, and keep a physical distance from others.
