The center is located on a 7-acre animal compound, tucked away in a small private canyon. The location outside of the city provides miles of private hiking trails and beautiful scenery year round. Brandon's animal training reputation has been recognized on television several times over the years. Hosting his own show on Animal Planet called "NIGHT," Brandon traveled across the globe to study and film the most elusive nocturnal creatures in the world. Brandon has spent the majority of his professional career training and working dogs for television, film, and commercial work. “Most of my dogs have a bigger resume than half the actors in Hollywood," McMillan adds jokingly. While he still spends time on set, Brandon has found just as much pleasure working with people to strengthen the bond between dog and owner. LA Dog Retreat is the culmination of over 30-years of experience in animal training; a special place where dogs can stay, learn, and thrive.
LA Dog Retreat is California's premiere cage free dog boarding and training facility, located just outside Los Angeles. The center features over 4,500 sq ft of cage free space as well as a climate controlled suite.
