Press release from: heat 11 GmbH & Co. KG

Number of employees in 2011 doubled – more than 30 projects in planning and process

The Bielefeld specialist for the heat transfer and conversion of energy - heat 11 - has successfully completed its first business year. A total order value of more than EUR 7 million and an order backlog of around EUR 5 million promises good capacity utilization in 2012 as swell.

Sales and earnings are also well in target, stated the company in a press release. One of the highlights of the first year according to the company was among others the planning, manufacture and assembly of a gas processing plant fired with wood and biogas for a composting plant of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, the delivery of a gas treatment plant for the Pemex group in Mexico as well as the delivery of heaters for the solar thermal power plant Extresol 3 in Spain. “With our business divisions “industry and energy“ and “solar“ we have developed to an internationally respected provider already in the first year”, said Dr. Dietmar Hunold, general manager technology and new markets at heat 11. “We create innovative solutions and clear competitive advantages for the customer. Our project record in the division industry with a number of quite different projects with a much smaller individual volume is a proof that we are following the right path with our solutions and the entry into new markets.”, said Dr. Andreas Glueck, general manager sales of heat 11. Consequent customer orientation and an international strategy is to strengthen long-term growth and profit. For this, appropriate co-operations are under preparation in sales and service. ”This way we can secure and extend our position on the market in the long term.”, Glueck is convinced.

The commercial success in Germany has long been driven heavily by exports this applies also for the engineering company heat 11. “We have doubled the number of our workplaces during the course of the year.“, said Torsten Schelp, as general manager responsible for human resources. The direct export share is well over 50 %, including the indirect export the share even is around 90 %. One profits in particular from the increasing demand for energy and consumer goods in the developed and newly industrialized countries. By this year’s first participation at the ACHEMA, the world’s most important trade fair for process technology, heat 11 will open up more markets, was the response from the company.

So the topics “climate and energy“ and “industry“ will therefore be dominant in 2012 as well for the young company. Opportunities arise from the development of energy resources from renewable raw materials, the efficient treatment of fossil fuels and the increasing global industrialization in the newly industrialized countries. “There we will grow with our customers!“ Dr. Andreas Glueck is convinced. A growth in high two-digit figures is planned for 2012.
