Every year Villa La Rogaia organizes an ambitious programm of Tango holidays with some of the best Tango teachers worldwide.
In 2012 the organizers of La Rogaia succeeded once again in bringing Tango legend Brigitta Winkler to Italy.
Easter 2012, from April 7 to April 14, 2012 she will hold one of her legendary Tango workshops.
Brigitta Winkler, has been dancing and teaching Tango over decades. She has at her disposal an incredible treasure of experience as Tango dancer and Tango teacher. And she teaches all her small and big secrets of Argentine Tango with passion, making her students profit extraordinarily.
In 1980, her life changed when she discovered Argentine tango. Brigitta travelled often to Buenos Aires to study with such famous dancers as Juan Carlos Copes, Antonio Todaro, Pepito, Gustavo Naveira, and Eduardo Arquimbau, to mention just a few.
Brigitta knows almost everything about Tango no matter whether you dance traditional Tango or Tango Nuevo. Therefore all the participants of her tango courses profit from her Tango lessons, indipendently from their prefered stile of dancing Tango.
What makes her Tango lessons truly unique however is her long experience in Body-Mind-Centering which she applies to dancing and teaching Tango.
Today Brigitta Winkler is a Tango legend, famous for being among the first who integrated training of body awareness and.body work in her teaching concept.
Participants of her Tango lessons will profit strongly from her concept, used by professional tango dancers worldwide. At the intensive workshop at La Rogaia Brigitta´s comprehensive body training will help her Tango students to perceive their bodies in a new very agreeable way.
They will reduce tensions and blockades in their bodies and thus dance more relaxed and with less stress.
