AASSET Security Group to Distribute ioimage Products in France
HERZLIYA, Israel, May 17, 2007 – ioimage, the pioneer of intelligent video appliances designed for simplicity, announced today that it has embarked on a successful partnership with AASSET Security, a leading European manufacturer and distributor of CCTV and other security products and solutions. According to the agreement, AASSET serve as a distributor of ioimage products in France. Since the accord went into effect, AASSET has carried out a large number of small, medium and large ioimage-based security installations at major military, transportation, logistics, infrastructure, and industrial sites.Leveraging AASSET’s proven track record, rich expertise and satisfied customer base with ioimage’s leading line of cutting-edge security products, the partnership has led to a large number of successful deployments in France thus far. The two firms have teamed up to install security systems for leading French organizations including Nexans, a global expert in cables and cabling systems, RATP, the Parisian mass transit authority, and the nuclear research center Cadarache, one of Europe’s largest energy R&D centers.
The ioimage solution for Nexans replaces previously used infrared barriers in order to protect key manufacturing facilities and equipment from theft and vandalism. At RATP, trip-wire intrusion detection technology is used against graffiti vandalism. The solution at Cadarache delivers perimeter protection, thereby meeting the stringent demands of the security-sensitive nuclear research center.
