Stinova bolster IAdea’s new HTML-5 Web Appliances for Digital Signage

Stinova, a leading innovator of visual communications software for Digital Signage solutions and content production services, provides support for HTML-5 open standards built-in the new Digital Signage appliances announced by IAdea. With a multitude of new widgets dynamic information can now be exchanged and displayed in an open and interoperable format. Driven by an intuitive and user-friendly browser interface, users have now an even more simple way to centrally manage and easily deploy content to IAdea's HTML-5 and SMIL-enabled players thru the cloud or in their local managed network. Five new introduced IAdea products are supported. The new Web Appliances named XMP-3250, XMP-3350, and XMP-3450, support wired networking, wireless LAN, and live A/V-in capability, respectively. Two new Web Signboards are also available: the XDS-1950 and XDS-2450 are all-in-one unit integrating an 18.5”- and a 24”-inch LCD display.

Two Web-based server platforms are currently available to address both the SMB and Enterprise Digital Signage sectors. Targeting on-premises small to medium sized installations, Stinova’s new “DMS-5 SMIL Digital Signage SMB Edition” is delivered as a convenient 1-click Windows installer with a Lifetime License and no recurring charges. At the other end of the scale, the new “DMS-5 SMIL Enterprise Edition” targets larger installations and is delivered as a virtualized server image that easily snaps into any virtualized server architecture for data-center and cloud computing environments. Additionally Stinova supports cloud-based SaaS services on a subscription model via its Web portal www.smil.digital-signage.cc.

For Live-TV and A/V streaming support Stinova extended its s-cube TV gateway appliance software to provide an easy way getting digital TV such as DVB-T, DVB-S2 and DVB-C available as IPTV multicast streams to the new IAdea product fully managed via Stinova’s DMS.
