Spiderman 3 London Premiere opened Pandora's Box
It was West Midlands based AV production house, Show Support, that assisted in creating the largest media extravaganza ever seen at the movie premiere of Spiderman 3. The stars, including Toby Maguire, Kirsten Dunst and James Franco, were out in force on the red carpet in Leicester Square.Amanda Davies from AD Event’s creative production featured the largest LED Screen structures and Media Show ever seen at a movie premier in Leicester Square – all worthy to premier the largest budget movie to date.
A total of 172 Lighthouse R16 LED Panels were used all supplied by Kevin McGuire of LED Screen Hire Europe. The panels were constructed as 7 tower blocks to create a Manhattan Skyline visual. Media content and control was via 3 x Pandoras Box Media Servers driven by Coolux Media Manager and an Avolites Pearl Expert. Media Content was supplied by Jason Bridge and Darren Seger.
Dave Mulcahy – Projects Director from Show Support comments ‘Pandoras Box was used to spread video content over the screens, together with synchronised audio feeds to the pa system. This allowed the screens to be treated as 7 individual ‘blocks’ or a single surface across which content could be positioned in any chosen position’.

CCTV supplied onsite broadcast facilities and provided Pandoras Box with Direct camera feeds for the Red Carpet guests / interviews which were inserted as another layer on the server.
Red Carpet guests also included the Main Cast members and Director / Producer and a host of stars from TV, Radio and various sporting personalities...
