Pankaj Parnami and Vikramaditya Khanna reveals the Myths of LPO Industry, Crowns India as King in LPO Service Provider Countries

“India has been one of the favorite destinations in context with LPO service provider markets for the US and UK based buyers and it has gone to the extent that India tops the list of service provider countries grabbing the highest market share as much as 80% of the total. On the buyer’s side, there stand Counsels and Law Firms based in the US and UK covering about 70% market.” With these words, Vikramaditya Khanna, Professor of Law and Director of the Directors' College for Global Business & Law, Michigan Law (US) crowned India as King in LPO service provider countries.
He was speaking in a webinar organized by Global Outsourcing Association of Lawyers (GOAL) on January 4, 2012. He was accompanied by Pankaj Parnami, Founder Director, GOAL, who further revealed the myths about the LPO industry. He said, “It has been a wrong notion that legal outsourcing includes only lawyers. In reality, this industry has IT and offshoring model as key pillars. Industry therefore deploys outsourcing experts, IT people, lawyers, graduates, IP experts, marketing and sales personnel, HR professionals and others who are expert in execution and leveraging Information Technology.”
