This pandemic has forced us to re-think our lives and make major lifestyle changes. From upgrading our hygiene routine to working from home, every aspect of our lives has seen some adjustment or the other. Remote learning has become the norm in many countries, especially in the areas of secondary and tertiary education. Universities are redesigning their curriculum to accommodate social distancing practises and the digitalisation of education has become more important than ever.
These inevitable changes in the system of education may seem very overwhelming to students and teachers alike. This is where LectureNotes comes in. LectureNotes has been doing for several years, what the pandemic has forced teachers and students from around the world to adapt to. Lecturenotes is a platform which brings experienced professors and scholars to share knowledge through notes, video lectures, and live interactions with thousands of students around the world. This provides a seamless transition to online and remote learning with a plethora of resources and support for teachers and students of engineering.
It is difficult to excel without an excellent learning source. LectureNotes, engineering notes sharing platform, helps students in both conceptual learning and exam preparation.
There are several useful tools for students such as video lectures, question banks, and past papers with solutions etc. which aid in effective learning of the material, as well as, build confidence towards examinations which can be challenging to prepare for in these times. These can be used in conjunction with university lectures, or as a stand-alone learning platform for anyone eager to master concepts and excel in college.
As an institution, we are committed to provide access to quality education to as many students as possible around the world. In these times of need, we recognise that there are thousands of students around the world who are locked up in their homes and may not have access to their university facilities which may hamper a proper learning experience.
We are proud to announce that after the successful launch of LectureNotes in India, we have expanded our services to Vietnam, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, and Indonesia. We understand that not everyone has the economic power to enrol in expensive tutoring programmes online and we have assessed the need of these countries which point to a dearth of resources especially in the engineering arena. There is also a gender inequality in STEM education reflected in a very low number of females taking up STEM based subjects. Researchers have observed that girls do show an interest in STEM at an early age, however this interest is stifled by pedagogical, psychological, socio-economic, and cultural barriers. Also, the lack of a support system to help sustain their engagement has also been observed. We hope to provide an equal opportunity to everyone to learn and excel in STEM-based subjects, especially engineering. By expanding our services, we hope to encourage more females globally to pursue STEM subjects in higher education and support them through their academic journey.
We want to empower individuals from around the world who have a passion to learn and make a difference in the world and hope to expand our services to even more locations in the near future.

LectureNotes is a one-stop destination for scholars around the world. We aim to create a platform to bring together teachers and scholars from around the world to be able to connect, communicate and share knowledge.

Education is the most essential need for society today, yet it is plagued with several pressing issues. These issues have been attempted to be solved but without a detailed understanding of the problems and a comprehensive approach.

As education is cutting through the various layers of social structures, several gaps in education skew the playing field in favor of the privileged. LectureNotes was conceived with the notion of filling in these gaps in education:

The gap between a child shouting answers from the front bench and a child sitting confused behind, the gap between a college with a multi-storey library and students who cannot even afford textbooks and the gap between a child who goes to school and a child who does not have a school miles and miles from his home.

LectureNotes was conceived with the vision to overcome these obstacles by creating a global community of scholars to facilitate the sharing of knowledge and resources and sparking discourses on the various bodies of knowledge.
