LEAP Entertainment Officially start DEKAP Fundraising Drive Kick-off Today

LEAP Entertainment, an impact investment project that invests in struggling entertainers and struggling charities in ECOWAS, officially kick-off activities for DEKAP fundraising drive today May 25, 2020.

With seed capital from its private investors, Leap Entertainment launched its quick impact pilot program called Capacity Building for Charities in Liberia (CBC Liberia). The Beneficiary charity selected is Destined Kids Assistance Program (DEKAP), a 6 year old registered charity in Liberia that provides assistance to children of disabled persons in Montserrado County, Liberia. The charity is also engaged in supporting family units of persons of disability, as disability affects the whole family.

The objective of the fundraising drive is to assist DEKAP strengthen its technical, management, fundraising, and media relations capacity to obtain funding of $54,900 USD to sustainably kick start operations and feed 100 disabled family unit with up to seven (7) in household starting August 1, 2020. This would be achieved through Leap Entertainment CBC Liberia Program providing hands-on approach through fundraising, and providing direct supervision of operations of Charity from May 25 - July 25, 2020.

Leap Entertainment CBC Liberia seeks local and international grassroots support from more than 5500 compassionate individuals and organizations and friends and partners of DEKAP to help contribute at least US$ 10 or LD $ 2000 towards kick-start of DEKAP annual operations and emergency feeding initiative for 100 families for 365 days.
