IBEF: Welcome to the India Adda, January 25-29, 2012, Davos

The ‘Adda’ is the quintessential Indian hangout intricately woven into the country’s social fabric. It is here that ideas are discussed and debated. An Adda doesn’t need a date, time or venue. All it requires are people who are willing to share each other’s company and bask in the warmth of shared ideas.

India Brand Equity Foundation (IBEF) brought the warmth of India to Davos by way of the India Adda during the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum, 2011.

Inspired by the success and reviews that we received at last Davos, India Brand Equity Foundation (IBEF) will be recreating the India Adda at the same place – adjacent and outside Café Schneider - and again for the duration of the Annual Meeting of the world economic Forum from January 25-29, 2012.

Welcome to the India Adda at Café Schneider Davos between January 25 and 29. Meet people, make friends and share ideas over premium Indian teas and coffees, a selection of the best wines from India and delicious food.

IBEF also presents Conversations on India at India Adda – a dynamic platform on its website and social media channels to bring forth the pulsating Davos thinking. This section on our website includes perspectives from leading Indian business personalities, the ideas for change and some exciting innovations from India. IBEF will also be setting up a Bloggers Park to especially report in real time the Nation Brand perspective from Davos 2012.

We look forward to receiving you at the India Adda.
