Pickerel Lake Recovery offer Burks Falls Residents Community Help
Pickerel Lake Recovery Center offers the community of Burks Falls the opportunity to help families in need. The private recovery center has set aside a fund to help local resident families get the help they need for a loved one that they otherwise couldn't afford. The fund is designed to help pay for treatment from addiction for families in need where they are in the midst and throws of deep rooted addiction that is uprooting the family and the sufferers.Burks Falls, ON, Canada., December 22, 2011 -- Pickerel Lake Recovery Center has announced that it will now make a fund available for access to Addiction Recovery for Burks Falls residents. The cost of a Recovery Program at Pickerel Lake Recovery Center can range from $22,000.00 to almost $40,000.00 depending on length of stay, this cost will be paid by the fund set up by the Center for a Burks Falls resident.
Pickerel Lake Recovery Center owner/director John Haines says, "Its time to give back" and "We have found that right here in the community we have made our new home, that some people have a family member that may be suffering from addiction to either drugs or alcohol and they need immediate help, and we can provide that help right here close to home without the standard wait of months to get in to any government funded program". Haines further states, "some are so deep in their addiction that they can't afford to wait to get help and thats where our fund comes in so that they can get the help that may save their life".
Government funded facilities in Ontario or those funded by OHIP have anywhere from 2 to 6 months waiting lists depending upon time of year and facility program offered. Haines says, "Far too many people may eventually die from the disease of addiction if not treated right away". This fund set up by Pickerel Lake Recovery Center will mean those that need immediate help need just apply and their request will be looked at immediately and the most serious dealt with and offered help first.
"I hope that even just this lettle bit of help will be seen by the Burks Falls community as something that means we care about this area and the people that reside here" Mr Haines says. "We take Recovery serious" he further states and emphasizes with his trademark motto, "Every life is worth saving".
