SMTT 2.0 update relased to fix localization problem that causes crash on start
Developer of SMTT fixed localization problem that caused crash on start.Iserlohn, December 22, 2011 - Thomas Thiemann, the developer of SMTT, released an update to the well known monitor test and display lag test software SMTT 2.0 pushing its version slightly to 2.0.01. During the last few days a minor bug turned out to be a show stopper. The conversion of a non-localized date value threw an unhandled exception for some localizations which caused the application to crash on start.
Affected are all users in the US and all users that select the US localizations settings in Windows or any other date format that differs from dd.mm.yyyy.
All affected users are requested to download and install the newest version of SMTT: SMTT 2.0.01 available from the official SMTT download website:
http://smtt.thomasthiemann.com/downloads_en.html
The new version can be installed directly without the need to remove the previous version. The license will not be affected by the update.
