Miami, Florida (November 8, 2011) – Brigitte Respaut Degrave from Sterling Equity Realty in Miami, Florida was among more than 200 Realtors who traveled from around the United States and the world to learn about the latest international trends, how to market their properties, establish international business relationships, and continue their professional development at the 18th Annual International Real Estate Congress in Miami, Florida on November 6-8, 2011.

“This is an outstanding program for anyone involved in any phase of real estate services-residential, commercial, investment, lending, legal and professional services of any kind in the United States and with neighboring countries and cities,” Brigitte Respaut Degrave said.

This year’s conference brought together an array of nationally and internationally known real estate Industry experts, forecasters, and national speakers to address the hottest industry issues, including Factors that are influencing trends in international real estate investment and development. High-level Delegations from approximately 10 countries and 20 U.S. cities traveled to Miami to network with real estate practitioners from the United States and around the globe.

The conference, hailed as “the premier international real estate event of the year,” featured National Association of REALTORS (NAR) Chief Economist Lawrence Yun’s keynote session “ Economic Update and Markets to Target for Foreign Investment,”2012 NAR President Maurice “Moe” Veissis’s “ Why invest In Miami and “Conversation with the president,”Condo Vultures Realty Founder Peter Zalewski’s “Market Opportunities,” FIABCI World President Alexander Romanenko’s “Real Estate Market in Russia, Profile of the Russian Buyer and foreign investment,” and “Free Trade Agreements and Visa Waiver
Program” by U.S. Representative and Chairman of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs Ileana Rose-Lehtinen.

The seminar ended by the presentation of the upcoming “RESORTS WORLD MIAMI “ , a 3.8 billion dollar investment in the heart of Downtown Miami. Four Hotels, two casinos, over fifty restaurants, luxury boutiques such as Prada , Channel, Louis Vuitton …. and 1,000 condo/ hotel units. “It is one of the most fabulous architectural project I have ever seen, once finished this joule will really spice up Miami”. The two- day event also featured international market spotlights, Gala Receptions and attendees from all over the United States and from Latin America and Europe. The conference will be held again on November 4-6,2012 in Miami.
