IPEVO's Remote Learning App iDocCam Goes On Sale Officially from May 1, 2020, New Features and Pricing Announced
iDocCam turns your smartphone into a document camera for remote learning
Sunnyvale, CA, USA (May 1, 2020): The leader in educational technology, IPEVO, today announced the official sale of its remote learning app--iDocCam--with 2 new features added to its iOS version. Users can now subscribe to iDocCam (features vary for iOS and Android version) at $0.99/month or $9.99/year or purchase it permanently at $19.99 on the App Store and Google Play Store.
iDocCam supports remote learning by allowing users to use their smartphones' cameras as a document camera to capture live instructions or physical materials and wirelessly displaying them on a Mac, Windows PC, Chromebook, or iOS & Android tablets with IPEVO's Visualizer software. Users can then make use of the available features in Visualizer such as snapshots, video recording, live broadcasts, and so on for their online lessons. iPhone users have the additional choice of connecting their iPhones to an external display for large-screen projection via AirPlay or HDMI/VGA. Either way, the external display will function as an extended screen for projecting the live images captured in iDocCam.
To further enhance the remote learning experience, 2 new features have been added to iDocCam (iOS version), namely, a peer-to-peer connection between iOS and macOS devices, and a control panel mode.
While the new peer-to-peer connection allows iPhone users to connect and use their iPhones (with iDocCam) in conjunction with iOS/macOS devices (with Visualizer) via Bluetooth instead of having to connect to the same Wi-Fi network, the new control panel mode allow them to use their iPhones as a remote control to remotely control the live images of iDocCam that are projected onto an externally connected display.
iDocCam is available on the App Store and Google Play Store for $0.99/month or $9.99/year, and both plans include a 1st month free trial. iDocCam is also available alternatively as "iDocCam OTS" on the App Store and Google Play Store for a one-time sale at $19.99. While having the same features as iDocCam, iDocCam OTS (iOS version) is eligible for bulk purchase through Apple's Volume Purchase Program (VPP).
