Tom Coler of Buyer's Broker Inducted Into the NAR Real Estate Buyer's Agent Council Hall of Fame

SARASOTA, FL – Tom Coler, Broker/Owner of the Buyer’s Broker of Southwest Florida in Sarasota and Naples, was inducted into the National Association of Realtors Real Estate Buyer’s Agent Council Hall of Fame.

The induction ceremony was held Saturday, November 12, during the 2011 Realtor Conference and Expo in Anaheim, CA, at an Awards Reception presented by the Real Estate Buyer’s Agent Council (REBAC) and the Seniors Real Estate Specialist Council (SRES).

REBAC’s highest honor, the Hall of Fame recognizes individuals who have contributed significantly to the buyer brokerage industry. Prospective inductees were nominated by fellow REBAC members and were selected by an independent panel of real estate industry leaders. Only five individuals were inducted in 2011.

A licensed Florida real estate broker and licensed Florida real estate law instructor, Coler opened Buyer’s Broker of Southwest Florida in 1989. A graduate of Georgetown University’s Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service and the Thunderbird Graduate School of International Management, Coler has a corporate, government and entrepreneurial background. He held executive positions with Texaco in the Caribbean and on the Ivory Coast, and IBM in Washington D.C., and was the former Chief of Staff for a United States Congressman.
