CIGNEX Datamatics contributes to Renesas Electronics reduction of website TCO by over 50%

CIGNEX Datamatics announced today that they have helped Renesas Electronics Corporation, a premier supplier of advanced semiconductor solutions, adopt and roll-out an Alfresco-based Web Content Management (WCM) solution to manage information globally across its 14 corporate and regional websites.
“We were facing many challenges with our previous proprietary software based solution. We carried out a detailed evaluation process before selecting CIGNEX Datamatics as our partner. CIGNEX Datamatics rolled out WCM solution using Alfresco to help meet our three-pronged objectives—flexible and scalable architecture, data integrity across all sites, and reducing the total cost of ownership (TCO) of our websites,” said Kazuo Horiguchi, Department Manager of IT Infrastructure Planning Dept, Renesas Electronics Corporation. “The CIGNEX Datamatics solution and their migration tool kit has helped us deploy scalable WCM across all 14 corporate and regional websites while reducing TCO by over 50% in comparison to our previous solution.”
