Planet Hyundai Sponsored Successful Toys for Tots Golf Tournament and Toy Drive

Las Vegas, NV. -- Planet Hyundai Sahara and Planet Hyundai Centennial are pleased to announce that, through their sponsorship, this year’s U.S. Marine Corps Golf Classic Toys for Tots Golf Tournament and Toy Drive was successful in raising more than $25,000.

This golf tournament raised money for the Las Vegas Chapter of Marine Toys for Tots Foundation , a non-profit dedicated to collecting new toys to give to children in need during the Christmas holidays. The tenth annual tournament, held on Veterans Day at Nellis Air Force Base, sold out of all 144 slots.

In addition to sponsoring the golf tournament, Planet Hyundai is serving as a Toys for Tots drop-off point. Toys for Tots bins are located at both dealership locations, and new and unwrapped toys may be dropped off at either dealership through December 15.

“We’re so grateful to the Las Vegas community for their support of Toys for Tots. We take great pride in supporting this foundation, particularly because Planet Hyundai employs 15 veterans of the U.S. armed forces,” said Ron Coury, co-owner of Planet Hyundai. “Now we’re calling on our customers to take it to the next level by helping us get a toy into the hands of every single needy child in Las Vegas. Our goal is to make sure every child has a smile on his or her face this Christmas!”
