India's First VR Platform for the Building Industry Supports Remote Working Using Immersive Tech, Trezi is enabling Virtual Collaboration for businesses afflicted by extended lockdowns across the world

New Delhi, April 21, 2020: Shaping up as the VR platform of choice across the world, Trezi is coming out in full support of stakeholders in the building industry to keep workflows afloat as lockdowns extend beyond the original 21 days. Chief among its offerings are reduced fees for the annual licences, and the ability to hold collaborative meetings within the virtual twin of a project, where users can review, modify and experience design in real time, and at full scale and colour.
Trezi is facilitating these meetings with no cap on attendees, and extending a conditional licence free of cost for the duration of the meeting so that non-Trezi users can join as well, availing full collaboration functionalities. While Trezi is a VR-first platform, it provides seamless functionality for users and non-users alike over desktop systems as well as Head Mounted Devices - especially in light of the present need to work from home. Trezi is also collaborating with BIMObject (the world's largest library of manufacturer-specific BIM objects) to give users access to an exhaustive repository of virtual twins of catalogue products for an added layer of accuracy to all project data visualization.
Set to deploy its 1.13 release in a few days, Trezi aims to improve spatial design understanding for all project stakeholders. Developed as a SaaS product under the Microsoft Accelerator in India program, Trezi is fully compatible with popular architecture design software such as SketchUp, Rhino and Autodesk's Revit. W; with these features, Trezi is raising the bar for design-based collaboration in the building industry.

Venture Funds back Trezi's development
SmartVizX, the startup behind the platform, plans to use its Series-A funding to grow Trezi, especially with the goal of building upon its Virtual Collaboration capabilities and tailored offerings for building product manufacturers. This round of funding follows the startup's pre-seed round of $1.3 million in 2018, and has been led by Rockstud Capital Investment Fund (with participation from existing investors IAN Fund and YourNest Venture Capital). Trezi has found traction with customers not just in India, but also in overseas markets such as the USA, Japan, Singapore and Thailand. Trezi's ability to address design communication issues and get all project stakeholders on a common platform makes it unique, and enables users to save both time and money.
Design Collaboration Made Easy
The building industry suffers from inefficient and ineffective design collaboration between architects, designers, their end-clients and product manufacturers since the current methods and tools to help them understand and experience the design are inadequate.
