MVTec Expands Marketing Activities in France
From May 2007, the distribution of MVTec machine vision software products in France will additionally be performed by Photon Lines SAS. Besides the distribution of HALCON and ActivVisionTools, Photon Lines will also provide high-level technical support for these software products.“MVTec and Photon Lines share the same passion for innovation!” means Eric Drean, managing director of Photon Lines. “With MVTec’s worldwide proven software HALCON and ActivVisionTools, Photon Lines strengthens its strategy in providing the most sophisticated technologies suitable to the French Machine Vision industry.”
The beginning of the distribution cooperation is carefully chosen to match the launch of the new HALCON 8.0 version in June 2007. HALCON 8.0 offers numerous worldwide novelties as dramatically enhanced speed, 3D Matching (3rd Generation Matching), and other unique new machine vision technologies.
