serVonic Offers Fax for Microsoft Online Services

Olching, 15th November 2011: serVonic now offers unified messaging for Microsoft Office 365: Via serVonic’s MOS Connect Service, users of the Microsoft Online Services can use the service Fax as service from the Cloud with Exchange Online. serVonic here acts as provider and takes care of connection, routing and permission check of the fax processing. The customers that way get a fax solution fully integrated into Microsoft Online Services and Office 365 and can profit from advantages such as low initial investment with full cost control. When the need arises, the services Voice and SMS can be integrated additionally. serVonic’s MOS Connect Service is offered for Microsoft Office 365 customers for a monthly fee for use. The minimum number of users is 5; the minimum runtime of the contract is 12 months.

With serVonic’s MOS Connect Service – just as with the predecessor-version Office 365 Business Productivity Online Suite BPOS – the users can receive, send and administer the fax messages in their Exchange Online inbox. They receive incoming faxes as e-mail with the respective file attachment. For the sending of faxes, several options are available: The users can address a new e-mail to fax number@bposfax.de or via “Contacts”, write text or attach documents. Moreover, they can make use of the IXI-UMS Client Tools with the features for Auto fax and mail merge fax or fax printer driver and generate messages directly out of Word and other applications.

An on-premises installation of serVonic’s fax solution is possible as well: Microsoft Office 365 customers can install the serVonic IXI-UMS fax server software on-site and use a classical license purchase variant. The software is integrated into Microsoft Exchange Online via the respective Connector. The users can make use of the fax- and UM-features with their e-mail client as usual.

Preconditions and Sales
At serVonic MOS Connect Service customers, a serVonic on-site components is installed, the connection to the PSTN is realized via the PBX at the customer on-site or via IP Centrex.

serVonic’s MOS Connect Service can be arranged by Microsoft Online Services partners. Adapted to the Microsoft Business model, the partners receive a “hunter fee” in the first year and a “farmer fee” in the following years.

Prices and Availability
serVonic’s MOS Connect Service for Fax is available at serVonic and sales partners for a monthly fee for use beginning at 2.00 € per user (plus legal VAT, if applicable). For further information, please refer to www.servonic.com.
