Press release from: Hound

Pasadena, CA, November 22, 2011 - Tennessee workers would have high hopes again because of the move General Motors has taken. GM's Spring Hill plant plans to employ 700 workers by next year.

GM has planned to bring these jobs back to its idled assembly plant in Spring Hill for work on any of the company's cars whenever extra production is needed. The firm has also invested $244 million over two phases. This will create nearly 1,900 jobs at the former Saturn plant outside Nashville.

Another 1,200 jobs are likely to be added by 2015 by General Motors. This would be a result of the $183 million investment made by the firm to make unspecified midsized vehicles. On the contrary, Environmental Protection Agency has been making unreasonable regulations. These regulations will result in a loss of 340,000 jobs nationwide. While in Tennessee, the cost to businesses to comply with this rule will be $530 million.

Hound has a database of jobs that come directly from the employers' website. It lists nearly 987,000 jobs across the nation. Hound has found about 14,000 jobs in Tennessee, of which over 3,500 jobs have been listed in healthcare sector, nearly 2,500 retail sector jobs and about 1,300 blue collar jobs which come directly from the employer. Hound gives you the benefit of location specific as well as industry specific job search. It lists those jobs that are available directly from employers which are not advertised anywhere else and are available to you exclusively.

Hound is the world leader in the monitoring and reporting of jobs on employer websites, through its active and growing research into all employers throughout the world. With over 300 employees working round the clock, Hound goes to employer websites, collects information about job openings, and reports everything it finds to its members.
