Cloud desktop service provider supports training organizations in the crisis with a day-based pricing model.

There is nearly no sector which is not suffering from the corona crisis. Training organizations and training departments with own training centres are also struggling under it. The German-based Desktop-as-a-Service (DaaS) service provider Kivito GmbH has published a new pricing model for their deskMate cloud desktops especially for companies and departments specialising in software training. "Cloud desktops are perfect for making software trainings quickly online capable", says Kivito managing director Michael Kurz. "If trainings are hold in the near future, then only as online trainings", Michael Kurz continues.
With the new day-based pricing model, developed especially for training organizations, it is possible to start their own Online SW trainings within a few days and with no initial expenses. Costs only arise if cloud desktops are accessed, means trainings are held. Depending on desktop sizing prices start at 4 EUR/day and desktop and are capped at the top if often used. Pre-investments are not necessary. As usual with modern cloud services, no long contract periods need to be concluded to use the service.
To access deskMate Cloud Desktops only a HTML browser is required. By this way even participants in their home office or with private end devices can be reached. No software or plugins have to installed on the trainee's side. The login portal of the participants can be designed via included White Label feature in the look and feel of the training organization.
The virtual classroom can also be fully managed by the trainer or the training organisation via HTML browser. This means also the image handling like creating or deploying software training images. Due to the simple management, in-depth IT or virtualization knowledge is not required.
