Evan Guthrie Law Firm Visits Bishop England High School
Attorney Evan Guthrie of the Evan Guthrie Law Firm in Charleston, SC visited Bishop England High School located in Daniel Island of Charleston, SC to speak to the law education class on November 8th 2011. Attorney Evan Guthrie spoke to the class about the legal profession and topics the class was studying for the course. Mr. Guthrie touched on the subjects of how to become a lawyer including the path from high school to law school and things that the students could do to prepare themselves while still in high school. Attorney Evan Guthrie also spoke about the different kinds of law and different types of lawyers in the legal system. Attorney Guthrie spoke about courtroom procedure and did a demonstration how to stand and speak to a jury in the courtroom. Mr. Guthrie even talked about the details of some of his most entertaining cases. Attorney Evan Guthrie answered many questions that ranged from his daily routine to how he operated his law firm to even difficult moral questions that sometimes arise in the law.
