DSV Road wins new two-year contract with Gurit
DSV Road Ltd has been awarded a new two-year contract to provide road freight services for all export shipments for Gurit (UK) Ltd to its customers throughout Europe.The agreement, an extension of an 18 month contract which commenced in 2010, will see DSV Road transport full and part loads from Gurit’s UK production site to the rest of Europe.
The Gurit group is a global leader in the development and manufacture of advanced composite materials and solutions.
Rene Falch Olesen, Managing Director, DSV Road Ltd, says: “This new contract is a testament to the high-level and flexibility of service DSV has provided to Gurit in the past.
“Gurit UK operates in demanding and competitive markets and our services ensure its products are transported efficiently and cost-effectively to its customers across Europe via our truly pan-European network.”
The new contract also offers DSV the opportunity to provide road freight services for certain inbound shipments to Gurit’s UK production site.
DSV Road is the third largest transport company in Europe and one of the major logistics companies worldwide.
Gurit offers composite materials, engineering solutions and technical support to a global customer base in Wind Energy, Transportation, Marine, Tooling, Engineered Structures and other selected application areas.
The international Group has production sites and offices in Switzerland, Germany, the UK, Canada, Spain, Australia, New Zealand, the USA, India, China and Ecuador.
