Delphi Greek in LA is still open, as a takeout and delivery restaurant as California and the nation struggle with the Covid-19 virus.

Roozbeh Farahanipour opened the legendary restaurant decades ago and has seen many changes in the economy and the region. He said he's never seen anything like this.

"Our commitment to quality food at great prices has not changed at all. We wish our whole restaurant could be open because we miss seeing our friends, but we understand the need for safety," he said. "You can get anything on our menu as a takeout or delivery through one of our delivery partners now."

Delphi Greek is a pickup restaurant near you for people on the west side of LA. Mr. Roozbeh said everyone is welcome to order, just make a note of the traveling time.

"If you want to do a pick up, please let us know when you will arrive to get it. If you will come in an hour or so, then we don't want to cook your order immediately. We'll take the right time for the cooking to meet your expected pick up time," he said.

The restaurant is taking measures to protect the staff and the people who order food. Mr. Roozbeh said anyone who feels slightly off or sick is told to stay at home. Other employees cover the needed work shift. As the restaurant's dining room is closed, having enough hands on deck is not a problem, he added.

"We will get through this. We will survive. When all this is over and we are fully open to the public again, we welcome everyone back with open arms. Until then, please my friends, stay safe and take needed precautions," he said.
