Keen launches Egyptian Sol Y Mar Resorts new visual identity

Bangkok, 8th May 2007 – Keen Media Thailand recently launched the new visual identity for the Egyptian Sol Y Mar resorts at ITB, one of the world’s most important travel trade fairs held annually in Berlin.

The new visual identity aims to capture and communicate the essence of the Sol Y Mar brand – friendliness and fun – through bright colours and contemporary graphic design, while reinforcing the brand’s continued growth and dynamism. With 15 resorts located in major destinations, Sol Y Mar is the largest hotel chain in Egypt.

In the new identity, Keen Media brings out the Sol Y Mar personality through images of family, friends, and couples enjoying resort holidays amidst the exotic beauty of Egypt – the sea, sand, sun, and desert oases. Playful imagery, swirling typography, a vibrant colour scheme, whimsical graphics and a casual, upbeat tone of voice work in unison to convey the Sol Y Mar experience.

With its expertise in total solution branding and corporate identity, Keen Media began by developing the new Sol Y Mar brand identity and then applied it to a wide variety of marketing materials. In addition to creating new brochures and print collateral, the agency’s multimedia design team distilled the identity into the digital realm with a new website (www.solymar.com) and digital tools including a Macromedia Flash Presentation (http://www.discoverkeen.com/news/solymar.htm).
