J. Simien PR, Inc. Announces New Service for Small Business Owners
Hattiesburg, Miss. (Saturday, November 12, 2011) – In an effort to help business owners who are facing financial hardship maintain their businesses and create new opportunities, J. Simien PR, Inc. has created Do-It-Yourself PR Seminars.These seminars will teach participants the basics of public relations and how to make it work for their brand. The seminars will be conducted in a one-day timeframe and will cover topics such as media training, how to pitch journalists, navigating social media networks and much more. Participants have the opportunity to learn hands-on and receive expert advice. “We want to extend our services to businesses who understand the importance of PR, but can’t afford to hire us full-time. That way, they can at least learn some things to get them started until they are in a position to hire a professional,” says Jessica Simien, founder and President of J. Simien PR, Inc.
The seminars are being offered in Hattiesburg and Jackson, Mississippi. The registration fee is $100.00 and includes a detailed course outline, writing samples, an event planning guide, a certificate of completion and a special gift bag. Participants will also receive discounted services from J. Simien PR, Inc. Aspiring publicists are welcome to attend at a special discounted rate with a valid student ID.
