Swaraveda – Organized by NTR Memorial Trust, a phenomenal Success

Hyderabad, 11-11-2011: NTR Memorial Trust, a Hyderabad based Non Profit Organization has organized Musical Fundraiser ‘Swaraveda’ at Gachibowli Indoor Stadium today. The trust received an overwhelming response from the masses, making the event a phenomenal success.

The Event was graced by Sri Nara Chandrababu Naidu, Managing Trustee, Ms. N. Bhuvaneshwari, Trustee, Mr. D. Seetharamaiah, Trustee Mr. Nandamuri Balakrishna, Chairman, Basavatarakam Indo-American Cancer Hospital and Mr. Venkat Motaparthy, Chief Executive Officer of NTR Memorial Trust.

11 legends of Indian Music, Padmashri Dr.Yella Venkateswara Rao - Mridingam, Sri.Kumaresh – Violin, Sri. Ustad Paravez Khan – Sitar, Sri. Kadiri Gopalanath – Saxaphone, Ustad Tejendra Majumdar – Sarod, Pt. Viswa Mohan Bhatt – Guitar, Sri. Praveen Godkhindi – Flute, Pt Shubhankar Banerjee – Tabla, Sri. Giridhar Udupa , Sri. Sivamani – Drums, enthralled the audience with their scintillating performances.

Sri Chandra Babu Naidu felicitated the 11 musicians, 11 NGOs across the country and 11 donors of NTR Memorial Trust.

As a truly altruistic act, proceeds from the event will be used to sponsor NTR Model School to provide education & boarding for the underprivileged children and other services of the Trust ; Blood Bank, Mobile Clinics, Eye Care and Rural Empowerment.

Commenting on the occasion, Sri Nara Chandra Babu Naidu, The Managing Trustee of NTR Memorial Trust said, “‘Swaraveda’ marks the advent of philanthropy on a massive scale in our Pearl City. We are extremely pleased with the overwhelming response and display of benevolence tonight. We’ve witnessed the spirit of giving and the joy of sharing at its vertex. We extend our thanks to everyone who supported the cause and made this event a tremendous success. “

The event was organized by the Trust with the cooperation of Mr. Maganti Gopinath.
